About the author (who transalated this book from Marathi to English)
It was a great selfless seva offered by Shri PVS Rama Swamy Ji to translate one of the most famous pieces of literature related to Shri Gajanan Maharaj (Shegaon), into a universal language so that the whole world can read and enjoy HIS miracles. Originally from South India and therefore having a limited knowledge of the Marathi language, it is a miracle in itself that he could translate the entire Marathi book (52 individual miraculous experiences) into English. This is a deed that’s not possible without Shri Gajanan Maharaj grace, direction and blessings.
Shri Swamy Ji also translated Shri Gajanan Vijay Granth into Telegu by hand and also a instrument in translating “Gajanan Guruvar Vrat” (a wish fulfilling Vrat) in Telugu and Tamil from Marathi.
As per my experience and association with him for more than 8 years, I found him to be a selfless person who doesn’t have any expectation of name or fame among Shri Gajanan Maharaj devotees; a silent and ardent devotee who is making a huge difference in Gajanan World.
May Shri Gajanan Maharaj bless him a healthy and peaceful life and we pray to Shri Gajanan Maharaj to allow him to continue offering Seva at HIS holy feet.

By Shri PVS Rama Swamy:
Jai Gajanan!! Gan Gan Ganata Botey!!
My name is Parnandi Venkata Sita Rama Swamy, born on 3rd August 1960, in a small town named Narsapuram falling in West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh state. I or my family never heard of Sri Gajanan Maharaj, unlike Shirdi Sri Sai Baba.
Being a Chemical Engineer, I too was pulled to Baroda in Gujarat state after my Engineering and Sri Maharaj has put me in association with a Maharastrian family way back in 1987. That was the time probably Sri Maharaj might have thought that the time for me has come to associate with Him and start my journey with Him at least by listening to His name, fame and His Leelas. Later on I got married to a girl of the same Maharastrian family in the year 1988. Quite surprisingly, Sri Gajanan Maharaj speaks to me in Marathi whenever He gives darshan. And I should admit that because of my son
Anand who used to speak to me in Marathi, I started understanding Marathi.
In the year 2002, when I and my family were on tour of Maharastra, had the first opportunity of visiting Shegaon Mandir, His Holy darshan, purchasing Pothi, having Mahaprasad etc.
Sri Maharaj made me read His Pothi (Sri Gajanan Vijay Parayana) first time in 3 days that too on (Dasami / Ekadasi & Dwadasi without me knowing the importance of doing Parayana in 3 days) and saved me from the clutches of some notorious people while I was on a business tour. That was the first experience I had and the faith Sri Maharaj instilled in me with this incident increasing day by day.
Sri Maharaj got His English version of Pothi (Sri Gajanan Vijay) translated into Telugu, while I was in Japan, which I can very firmly say ‘nothing less than a miracle’, as I left writing Telugu once I joined engineering.
Similarly, I consider the translation of Sri Gajanan Anubhav (Volume – 1) from Marathi to English is no less a miracle of Sri Gajanan Maharaj as my mother tongue is Telugu and to read / understand and translate pure Marathi is not at all easy.
I sincerely admit that I experienced quite a good number of experiences with Sri Gajanan Maharaj while in India and abroad as well.
I can only say with all humbleness that whatever I am today is all due to the blessing and grace of our beloved Sadguru Sri Gajanan Maharaj. And I sincerely request all to have unwavering faith in Him.
Jai Gajanan!! Gan Gan Ganata Botey!!
Today is very special day in journey of our “Global Gajanan Parivar”. On the same day in 2010 (26th Sep 2010), the first “Global Weekly Parayan of Shri Gajanan Vijay” has started.
During summer of 2010 (Shatabadi Maha Samadhi year) on one Thursday, we have met a person in Sai Temple, Montebello (CA). The person requested me to join/participate in “Global weekly Parayan” of Sai Sad-charitra. I was curious to know the details and had a long chat with him. He explained me the concepts and included me in Parayan seva. This activity is being coordinated from Chicago.
I came back with joy and new concept – Let’s try with our Parivar and start “Global Weekly Parayan Seva” of Gajanan Vijay. After Rishi Panchami Utasav when I shared thought with our Guru Bandhus, within a week we had list of 21 devotees willing to participate in this activity (wow.. Maharaj accepted this seva). We have published list of Week-01 chapter allocation on 26-Sep-2010. Since then the number of participants keep growing. On the 04th week, we had 42 devotees from all over the globe participating in this Seva.
On the 26-Sep-2016 (Monday), we have successfully completed 6 (six) years of continuation of this seva and as of now has offered 313 weeks of Parayan.
For the continuation of this Seva, all credits go to your dedication, participation and love/affection for our Guru Mauli. In the beginning of this year, we were able to offer 5 parayans in a week (60 participants)
Process for participation is very simple (one chapter per week at any time, any day, and in any language)
Weekly Shri Gajanan Vijay Granth Group Parayan:
Our Shri Gajanan Vijay Granth weekly GROUP PARAYAN is organized in such a way that CHAPTERS are randomly allotted to those who are interested to do the Parayan. The CHAPTERS can be read at home or any other appropriate place in any language at any time, on any day of the week, preferably on Thursday. Allocated chapters will be distributed by email latest on the Sunday of that week.
Additional chapters can be read (in addition to the one allotted) as desired.
If for any reason, a participant cannot participate in the upcoming week’s group parayan, please indicate latest by Saturday of that week.
