Journey and History of "Gajanan Maharaj America Devotees Parivar (GMADP)"
GMADP is instrumental in initiating Gajanan Maharaj Satsang (Naam Japa) at 16 locations (USA and UK) and Gajanan Maharaj Temple establishment at 7 locations in USA (Atlanta, Dallas, Seattle, Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago and New Jersey)
Year-2007-2010: Exercised all means to identify and connect with Gajanan Maharaj Devotees
Year-2010: First break through and started meeting (4 families came together)
Year-2011: First Naam Japa, since then regular monthly Naam Japa, Specific pattern evolved & practiced for Naam Japa
Year-2012: First Pragat Utasav (56 bhog from pothi), Ram Navami Celebration, Web Satsang started, First Gajanan Stall in MM anand Mela, Face book group started
Year-2013: First Global Naam Japa on Guru Purnima. Devotees joined from Australia, Malaysia, Ghana, UK and all over USA, Introduction of “Gajanan Thursday Vrat” and Food drive in Los Angeles, Daily naam japa over teleconferencing for 30 minutes
Year-2013: First ever “Gajanan Get together” in Austin (TX). Families from all over the USA joined, Roadmap and commitment for future established. Kids were recognized for their participation for the entire year.
Year-2014: Bay Area, Florida, UK and Seattle monthly Naam Japa started. Web-Pravachan “Gajanan Maharaj Hote tari kashe”, First ever Palakhi Sohala in Los Angeles (CA) on Rishi Panchami with help of devotees
Year-2015: First Mukhotgat Parayan in Bay Area and Canada
Year-2016: First ever Gajanan Maharaj Temple in Atlanta (GA), Web Pravachan by Shri Vinay Joshi. Web Series “Journey with Sadguru” participation from all over the Globe, 8 places mukhotgat parayan program
Year-2017: Murti-sthapana in Dallas and Seattle, Introduction of Gajanan Nitya Smaran, Mukhotgat parayan program at 11 locations, Naam Japa started – Chicago, Phoenix, Boston and New Jersey
Year-2018: Food serving to 500+ homeless on Magh vadhya Sapatami (Maharaj Pragat Din), Beach Cleaning in NJ, Palakhi Sohala in Chicago on Rishi Panchmi, Murti Sthapana in NJ

Gajanan Maharaj America Devotees Parivar (GMADP) is a non-profit advocacy organization for the Gajanan Maharaj Devotee community in the United States. Our Vision is to provide direction, consulting and funding to various Gajanan Maharaj Devotee groups in the United States to establish Gajanan Maharaj Temples and to conduct regular spiritual activities, Workshops and in-depth discussions on Gajanan Maharaj teachings.
